Charles Chiang

Charles Chiang is a Process Controls & Validation Engineer at Regeneron since November 2019, specializing in criticality, risk, and control analysis for manufacturing processes. Prior to this role, Charles served as a Student Researcher at the Laboratory for Laser Energetics, where novel coatings for laser optics were developed for fusion experiments. Charles also gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Rochester, focusing on analytical chemistry for undergraduate students. Earlier research experience includes a Research Assistant position at Brigham and Women's Hospital, characterizing proteins related to hypertension in pregnancy, and a Summer Research Internship at Massachusetts General Hospital, where the role of the APP protein family in neuron formation was investigated. Charles holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester.
