Dan Cottrell

Dan Cottrell is the Chief Engineer of Vehicle systems at REGENT Craft. Dan has over 14 years of experience in the aerospace industry. Dan has held various positions at Aurora Flight Sciences Corporation from June 2007 to March 2021, most recently as the Propulsion and I&T Lead for Aurora eVTOLs. Prior to Aurora, Dan worked as a Jr. Thermal Engineer at Swales Aerospace from January 2007 to May 2007, where they were responsible for satellite thermal model verification and analysis.

Dan Cottrell has a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Maryland - A. James Clark School of Engineering.

Dan Cottrell reports to Billy Thalheimer, CEO. They work with Mike Klinker - CTO, Adam Triolo - VP, Commercial Sales, and Bryan Baker - Chief Engineer, Vehicle Physics.
