Rachel Hollowgrass is an accomplished User Experience Researcher and Designer at the University of California, with extensive experience in climate research and educational systems. Since June 2015, Rachel has contributed to the AmeriFlux project at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, focusing on user experience to enhance the measurement and sharing of ecosystem data. In addition to current responsibilities, Rachel has held positions as a User Experience Lead for Berkeley's Student Information System and a Design Researcher for Kaiser Permanente's Innovation Consultancy. Previous experience includes software development and UX design roles at the University of California and instructional development at the University of Texas and Stanford University. Rachel holds a degree in Social Ecology and Computer Science from UC Irvine.
