Kim Fowler

Manager, Energy & Sustainability at Regional District of Nanaimo

Kim Fowler, MCIP, RPP, currently serves as the Manager of Energy & Sustainability at the Regional District of Nanaimo, where responsibilities include integrated climate action for adaptation and mitigation. Previous roles include managing long-range planning projects, serving as Principal at Sustainability Makes Cents Consulting, and holding various leadership positions in municipal planning and sustainability across multiple organizations, including the City of Red Deer and the City of Victoria. Kim holds a Master of Science in Planning from the University of Toronto and has a strong focus on improving sustainability and resiliency through strategic planning and policy development, evidenced by significant accomplishments such as managing the Dockside Green project, which received the highest LEED point total in the world for sustainability.
