Dorota Biernat is currently the Treasurer at [Regional Hospice](/org/regional-hospice). Dorota has previously held positions as Executive Director of Treasury, Controller - Purchasing and Legal, and Associate Director of Treasury, all at [Boehringer Ingelheim](/org/boehringer-ingelheim). Dorota has been working in the field of treasury management for over 20 years.

Dorota Biernat has an MBA in International Finance from NYU Stern School of Business, a BBA in Finance from Western Connecticut State University, and a degree in Finance/Economics from SGH Warsaw School of Economics. Dorota is also a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) from the Association for Financial Professionals.

ToniAnn Marchione is the Chief Health Operating Officer (CHOO) at Regional Hospice, providing oversight for the clinical aspects of the agency and leading tactical partnerships with top healthcare organizations in the region.

ToniAnn has 20 + years of executive leadership, empowering and inspiring her team while consistently increasing company growth. She joined Regional Hospice after four years as CEO of Danbury Radiological Associates. There, she was the driving force for strategic management of six independent imaging centers across Connecticut. One of her greatest accomplishments as CEO was developing alliances with large health systems such as Nuvance Health, which includes Norwalk and Danbury Hospitals; and Hartford Healthcare, one of the largest multispecialty practices in Connecticut.

Prior to her tenure at Danbury Radiological Associates, ToniAnn was Executive Director of ancillary services at legacy Western Connecticut Health Network, now known as Nuvance Health for 11 years where she oversaw laboratory and imaging service lines. ToniAnn believes her strong foundation for business and patient care was built during her time at Rye Radiology Associates in Rye Brook, New York.

Along with a Bachelor of Science in Radiological Science and her proven leadership excellence, ToniAnn brings tremendous experience to Regional Hospice. Since 2018, she has been a Reiki volunteer, one of the complementary therapies Regional Hospice provides to their patients. This frontline experience provides a deep understanding of the organization’s mission to approach death by creating meaningful connection and honoring each patient’s unique journey at the end of life.

ToniAnn Marchione

Cynthia Emiry Roy, MS, LCSW, CHA joined Regional Hospice as President & CEO in 2007 after over a decade as a CEO in hospice care. She has grown the organization from a small business to an industry leader.

A visionary in her field, Cynthia assisted with reinventing the state of Connecticut regulations for hospice inpatient care in 2010 and built the first of its kind $15-million, 36,000-square-foot private suite residential hospice in Connecticut. Set to transform the hospice landscape again, she is spearheading the North Star, the only dedicated residential hospice for children and babies in the Northeast, and one of only five in the nation. She is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) Global One Chapter.
