Thabo Dube

Thabo Dube has a diverse work experience in the field of software testing and quality assurance. Thabo started their career as an Intern Developer at Snap Information Technologies Ltd in 2014. Thabo then joined Planit Testing in 2016, where they held various roles including Graduate Tester, Tester, Test Analyst, Senior Test Analyst, and QA Engineer. In these roles, Thabo was responsible for ensuring the quality assurance of projects, such as a Parking app, and integrating systems like Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016.

In 2020, Thabo joined Soul Machines as a Senior Software Development Engineer Test I, where they focused on maintaining the quality of AI-powered digital humans using webRTC and Natural Language Processing platforms. Thabo also mentored junior QAs and researched new technologies for automation.

Thabo's next role was at Shift in 2022, where they worked as a QA Automation Lead. Finally, they are currently employed at Regrow Ag as a Senior QA Engineer.

Thabo Dube completed their education at the University of Canterbury from 2012 to 2016, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems and Accounting. Prior to that, they attended Nayland College from 2007 to 2011, where they achieved NCEA Level 3 in High School. In terms of additional certifications, Thabo obtained the Advanced Level Test Analyst (CTAL) certification from iSQI GmbH in August 2019. Thabo also holds the iSQI Scrum Master Pro certification from iSQI GmbH, which they obtained in April 2018. Thabo earned the ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in December 2016. Additionally, they obtained the iSQI - Certified Agile Essentials certification from iSQI GmbH in August 2016.
