Rebecca Straka

VP Enterprise Technology and Shared Services at REI

Rebecca Straka is the Vice President of Enterprise Technology and Shared Services at REI. Rebecca has been with the company since January of 2018 and in that time has been responsible for setting IT strategy and delivery of enterprise systems and shared services in support of REI businesses and its members. This includes cloud, compute, platform, and networking services, enterprise applications, supply chain and order management, merchandising systems, quality assurance, workplace services, retail technology and deployment services, and the office of the CIO.

Some of Rebecca's key initiatives include a cloud shared services program, implementing an HRIS system utilizing UltiPro, overseeing a greenfield implementation of merchandising systems utilizing cloud technology and Aptos/TxT applications, sourcing IBM's Sourcing Optimizer to create a more efficient supply chain environment, successfully launching an on-line channel allowing customers to buy on line and pick up their products in a store, and a digital transformation effort to "digitize" business processes to create efficiency and improve customer experiences.

Previously, Rebecca was a Technology Council Member for 501 Commons from April of 2017 to December of 2019.

Rebecca Straka has a Bachelor of Administration from Washington State University - Carson College of Business and a Master of Science - MS from Western Governors University. Rebecca also has a certificate in Six Sigma Green Belt for IT from Villanova University.

Rebecca Straka reports to Curtis Kopf, Chief Digital Officer.
