Tobias Hecht

Tobias Hecht has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Tobias'smost recent position is as a Senior Project Manager at ReJoule, where they manage a grant from the California Energy Commission to repurpose electric vehicle batteries for solar power storage. Prior to that, they worked as a Lead Consultant at Energética Strategies, focusing on sustainable energy projects such as solar panel manufacturing. Tobias also served as the Director of Research and Strategic Planning at CHERP Solar Works, where they played a key role in launching a nonprofit solar manufacturing plant and secured a planning grant from the National Science Foundation. Additionally, Tobias worked as a Project Manager at Sigway Energy, assisting the start-up in the solar, energy storage, and power management sectors. Tobias also has teaching experience as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Pomona College.

Tobias Hecht has a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Social Anthropology from the University of Cambridge. Tobias also holds a Master of International Affairs degree from Columbia University. In addition, they have a Bachelor's degree in Latin American and Iberian Studies from Columbia University.
