Bruno Korbar

Bruno Korbar is a DPhil Candidate at the University of Oxford, pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science since October 2020. Bruno has experience as an Open Source Development Intern at Quansight and previously served as a Visiting Researcher with PRO Unlimited at Facebook, focusing on video-understanding models. Prior roles include Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and Tutor in various computer science courses at Dartmouth College, and research positions where Bruno developed deep learning models for medical applications and extended cognitive-behavioral modeling techniques. Bruno also interned at Microsoft, resulting in the granting of a patent for a virtual machine demand prediction method, and has published research in the Journal of Pathology Informatics. Bruno holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Dartmouth College and a high school diploma from V.gimnazija.
