Elijah Escobedo

Elijah Escobedo is a highly skilled aerospace engineer with extensive experience in propulsion development and testing. Currently serving as a Staff Propulsion Development Engineer at Relativity Space since September 2020, Elijah has previously held roles including Senior Propulsion Test Engineer and Propulsion Test Engineer II. Before joining Relativity Space, Elijah worked at SpaceX from January 2016 to September 2020, progressing from Test Operations Engineer I to Test Operations Engineer II. Earlier experience includes a position as a Mechanical Systems Engineer at Lumadyne, LLC, where Elijah designed mechanical systems using Solidworks and communicated design progress to clients. Elijah began the professional journey as a Student Worker at Rice University, contributing to inventory organization and shop maintenance. A graduate of Rice University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Elijah possesses a solid foundation in engineering principles and practices.
