Shelby Felton

Shelby Felton, Esq. is an experienced attorney specializing in product compliance and employment law. Currently serving as the Director of Product Compliance Attorney at Reliance Matrix since October 2022, Shelby focuses on monitoring paid family and medical leave laws to ensure client compliance. Prior roles include Senior Assistant City Attorney for the City and County of Denver, where responsibilities spanned defending against employment claims and providing legal advice, and Partner at Vaughan & DeMuro, representing public entities in various legal claims. Additional experience encompasses litigation practice at Godfrey & Lapuyade, P.C., and Sherman & Howard, with expertise in insurance defense and general counsel work. Shelby began a legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk at the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming after earning a J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law and a BS in Finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
