Chris Heslep

Chris Heslep, CIA, CISA, currently serves as the Complex Director of Finance and Task Force Controller for Marriott Suites Dallas and Embassy Suites Dallas at Remington Hospitality, a position held since September 2022. Prior experience includes a distinguished tenure at Ashford Inc. from September 2005 to September 2022, where roles included Manager of Internal Audit & Compliance, Supervisor of Internal Audit, and Senior Internal Auditor. Prior to Ashford Inc., Chris held various positions at Wyndham International from 1996 to August 2005, progressing from Senior Internal Auditor to Supervising Senior Staff Accountant, starting as an Associate Accountant in 1996. Earlier experience includes work as an Accounts Receivable Clerk at Renaissance Dallas Hotel from 1991 to 1996. Chris holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a BS in Accounting from the University of Central Arkansas and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, respectively. Academic foundations were laid with completion of studies at Sylvan Hills High School from 1981 to 1984.
