Alfonso Gillette IV currently serves as the Regional Vice President of Sales, Practice & Instruction at Renaissance Learning, a role that involves leading the integration of Nearpod into the company’s sales organization and championing new operating protocols. Prior to this, Alfonso held various positions at Nearpod, including Regional Vice President of Sales, East, where leadership of the East Sales team and a focus on expanding market presence was key. As a Sales Manager, Alfonso managed a team of Account Executives and drove significant growth in K–12 schools while overseeing the School Sales Representative team. Earlier experiences include a fellowship with Venture for America, a role as School Partnerships Associate at the National Academy of Advanced Teacher Education, and serving as Senior AmeriCorps Team Leader with City Year. Alfonso holds a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication with a minor in Economics from The Ohio State University.
