Jayant Vivrekar

Jayant Vivrekar is an experienced engineering leader with a robust background in semiconductor design and automotive electronics. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Renesas Electronics since March 2020, Vivrekar oversees the Video Signal Processing and Battery Management Systems Group. Previous positions include Sr. Design Manager roles at Texas Instruments, Rambus, and Semtech, where Vivrekar led innovative design teams and managed complex digital design projects. Jayant has a foundational background in digital design from earlier positions at Intersil, Xicor Inc, and Genesis Microchip, where Vivrekar contributed to advanced technologies in a variety of applications. Vivrekar holds a Master’s Degree in Microelectronics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications from GS Institute of Technology & Science, Indore.
