Jennifer Hurley currently serves as the Department Head and Richard Baruch M.D. Professor of Biological Sciences at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute since August 2015. With a strong background in molecular genetics, microbiology, and immunology, Jennifer's previous experience includes post-doctoral research on the circadian clock at Dartmouth-Hitchcock and teaching roles at Franklin Pierce University and Dartmouth College. Jennifer's academic journey includes a Ph.D. from Rutgers University and a BS from Juniata College, complemented by international study at the University of Leeds. Jennifer also has extensive teaching and mentoring experience that spans multiple educational institutions.
