Shareq Husain

Shareq Husain is the current UK General Manager at Residently. Prior to this, they were the Head of Restaurant Operations for Uber Eats UK from February 2016 to November 2019. In this role, they were responsible for leading the Restaurant Operations team and creating scalable tools, processes, and actionable insights to improve business performance.

From January 2015 to January 2016, Shareq Husain was the Head of Strategy & Innovation at AlliedCrowds. In this role, they developed and implemented the growth strategy for AlliedCrowds, and drove innovation in their products and the crowdfunding industry. Shareq also worked closely with institutions to forge strategic partnerships and help them unlock the power of crowdfunding to maximize impact.

Prior to their work at AlliedCrowds, Shareq Husain worked as a Summer Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group from July 2013 to August 2013. Shareq also worked as an Associate in Financial Markets Sales at Standard Chartered Bank from January 2009 to August 2012.

In July 2012, Shareq Husain founded Talent Connect Bangladesh, where they served as the Chief Executive Officer until December 2012.

Shareq Husain has a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD, a Specialized Honors in Business/Managerial Economics from York University, and Class 6-12 from Scholastica. Shareq is also certified from the CFA level Three.

They work with Kaylea Haynes - Data Science, Natalie Crowhurst - Resident Experience, and Edward Tinsley - Partnerships. Their manager is Tom Allason, Founder & CEO.
