Igor Drugov

Igor Drugov is a Technical Fellow in the Lightspeed-Nitinol Advanced Technology Group at Resonetics, starting in January 2024. Prior to this role, Igor held various positions at Resonetics (formerly Memry), including Engineering Manager and Sr. Process Engineer, focusing on Nitinol tube and wire manufacturing, product development, and process improvements. Igor's previous experience includes work as a Material Scientist at Innovative Technology International INC., where contributions centered on Nitinol alloys for medical applications, and as a Research Engineer at JSC AVTOVAZ, conducting failure analyses for automotive components. Igor holds a Master's Degree in Precision Metal Working from Samara State Aerospace University, and is pursuing a certificate in Innovation and Technology from MIT Professional Education in 2025. An Associate's Degree in Mechanics and Repairers was obtained from Tolyatti Professional Liceum.
