As the Regional Manager, Client Solutions, T.J. leads company efforts to grow the water quality trading and nutrient credits market and also lead our sales and account management activities by supplying ecological offsets to permittees throughout Virginia. Since 2009, T.J. has been a practicing attorney in Virginia, first at Hunton & Williams, LLP and most recently with Troutman Sanders, LLP, where he counseled clients on topics related to CWA Section 404 compliance and also facilitated the formulation of the National Water Quality Trading Alliance. He has also been lead counsel to the Virginia Mitigation Banking Association. T.J. received his BA in Environmental Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, his Masters in Environmental Management from the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University and his J.D. from Duke University School of Law. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Chair, Environmental and Energy Law Section for the Richmond Bar Association. He is also a member of Virginia Bar Association, a member of the Advisory Board for the Capital Region Land Conservancy and is a LEED Green Associate.
