Nafisa Lohawala

Nafisa Lohawala is a Fellow at Resources for the Future since August 2022, previously serving as a Ph.D. Candidate and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Michigan from August 2016 to August 2022. Nafisa's research experience includes roles as a Visiting Student Researcher at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in 2015, the University of Calgary from May 2014 to July 2015, and the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow in June 2013. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science in Economics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the same institution. Early education was completed at St. Mary's Convent S. S. School in Dewas, where Nafisa achieved AISSCE certification.
