Ming Lai has a diverse work experience in the food and hospitality industry. They have held various roles in different companies, including Restaurant Associates UK, Compass Group, All Leisure Hospitality, Sydney Cricket Ground & Sydney Football Stadium, and Sydney Turf Club, Rosehill Gardens.
In their most recent position as Regional Managing Director for Restaurant Associates UK, Ming was responsible for national and international contracts. Prior to that, they served as the Operations Director and Head of Operations for the same company, overseeing high-end catering and guest services for corporate accounts.
Ming has also worked as the National Account Manager for KPMG at Restaurant Associates, managing multiple service streams and driving revenue. In addition, they served as the Regional Manager for London, overseeing all catered services for the KPMG contract.
Before joining Restaurant Associates, Ming worked at Compass Group as a Site Operations Manager, where they managed operational aspects of the NSW Westpac contract. They also served as a Corporate Floor Manager within the same company.
Earlier in their career, Ming worked as an Event Operations Manager for All Leisure Hospitality at the Sydney Cricket Ground & Sydney Football Stadium. They also held the role of Food & Beverage quality control project manager at the Sydney Turf Club, Rosehill Gardens.
Overall, Ming Lai has gained extensive experience in managing operations, accounts, and events in the food and hospitality industry.
From 2001 to 2004, Ming Lai attended Western Sydney University, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on hospitality management.
