Head of Investments at Revix

Brett Hope Robertson has a diverse work experience that spans across different industries. Brett currently holds the position of Head of Investments at Revix, a role they assumed in January 2022. Prior to this, they served as an Investment Analyst at Revix from June 2021 to December 2021.

Before joining Revix, Brett worked at RidgeCape Capital from February 2018 to June 2021. During their time at RidgeCape Capital, they held various roles including Hedge Fund Analyst and Multi Derivative Analyst and Dealer. As a Multi Derivative Analyst and Dealer, their responsibilities included pricing, dealing, trade execution, and conformation of delta one and nonlinear equity, currency, and fixed income derivatives.

Brett began their professional career as a Finance Tutor at the University of Cape Town from January 2015 to December 2016. In this role, they had the individual responsibility of teaching financial concepts to a tutorial group of 25 people, developing skills such as communication, teaching styles, responsibility, punctuality, discipline, and work ethic.

Brett Hope Robertson has an extensive education history that includes various degrees and certifications. Brett attended Harvard Extension School in 2021 and completed a program in Computer Science, specifically focusing on Blockchain and Bitcoin programming. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2018, they pursued a Master's of Commerce degree at the University of Cape Town with a specialization in Investments and Risk Management.

Before their master's degree, Brett studied at the University of Cape Town from 2013 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Science, specializing in Finance and Economics. Finally, their education journey began at Bishops Diocesan College, where they completed their NSC degree from 2008 to 2012.

In addition to their degrees, Brett has acquired certifications from the CFA Institute. Brett passed the CFA Level 2 exam in August 2019, and the CFA Level 1 exam in January 2019, achieving a top 10% score.
