Melynda Heying-McMahon

Melynda Heying-McMahon serves as the Associate Director for Housing Operations at the Rhode Island School of Design since August 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing the StarRez Housing Management System, managing residential room assignments for 1450 beds, and facilitating data integration with multiple systems. Previous roles include Assistant Director for Community Development, with a focus on supervising staff and implementing residential curricular experiences, and Area Coordinator, managing the operations of residence halls. Melynda's earlier experience includes positions at Curry College, Evan's Support, and Minnesota State University Moorhead, where leadership and operational management skills were honed. Melynda earned a Master of Science in College Student Counseling and Personnel Services and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
