Sean O'Donnell has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Starting in 1983, they worked as a Senior Programmer at Classroom Consortia Media, where they developed graphical and interactive educational software. In 1986, they joined AT&T as a Principle Technical Staff Member, leading the development of projects such as the Ultra/FAST SCP, a network element in the AT&T Wireless signaling network. O'Donnell then worked at Lucent Technologies as a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff, where they were involved in developing centralized user administration and single sign-on capabilities for integrated product offerings. In 2001, they joined uReach Technologies, Inc as a Senior Engineer, focusing on developing telephony-based features and services for the Converged Services Framework. Lastly, O'Donnell joined Ribbon Communications in 2014 as a Senior Principal Software Engineer, responsible for driving architecture and designing key product features and services for the Converged Intelligent Messaging system.
Sean O'Donnell attended Monmouth University from 1990 to 1994, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, they studied at the University of Colorado Boulder from 1979 to 1983 and earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design degree, specializing in Environmental Design/Architecture.
