Leia Ross

Leia Ross has extensive experience in strategic roles within major organizations, currently serving as Head of Strategy & Integration Steel Decarbonisation at Rio Tinto since June 2011. Previously, at Rio Tinto, Leia held various positions, including HR Director Commercial and Head of Group Employee Engagement and Culture. Prior to joining Rio Tinto, Leia worked at Deloitte as a Senior Manager and served as an Advisor/Management Consultant at Woodside Energy. Further notable experience includes leading strategy, transformation, and change at Horizon Power and managing commercial projects for the Department of Health in the UK, specifically overseeing procurement initiatives that established numerous GP practices and healthcare centers. Leia holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University, earned between 2001 and 2004.
