Oscar Tinoco

Oscar Tinoco is an experienced mining engineer currently working at Rio Tinto as an Underground Mining Engineer since August 2022. Prior to this role, Oscar held positions at Mountainland Supply Company as an Inside Sales Representative for Geosynthetic Products and Counter Sales from April 2019 to August 2022. Oscar also contributed as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Utah from January 2020 to December 2021. Earlier experience includes internships with Grupo México in 2016 and 2017. Oscar holds a Master of Science in Mining Engineering from the University of Utah and a Bachelor's degree in Mining and Civil Engineering from Universidad La Salle Laguna.
