Katie Davis

Katie Davis possesses extensive experience in social work and community service. Currently serving as a Social Worker at RiseUp Community School since August 2015, Katie also holds a position as an AmeriCorps Vista member since July 2015. Prior roles include coordinating the Community Service Work Program for San Luis Obispo County Courts, where individuals with minor violations can fulfill community service requirements, and serving as an English Language Assistant at Escola Tanit, tutoring children from immigrant families. Earlier experience includes a leadership role at Camp Robin Hood, managing staff and campers. Katie earned a Master's degree in Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Denver and holds Bachelor's degrees in Communication from both California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and the University of New Haven's Barcelona Campus.
