Cindy Nicola

VP, Talent Acquisition at Rivian

Cindy Nicola is the Vice President of Talent Acquisition at Rivian. Nicola began their career in 1990 as an HR/Quality leader at A.W. Chesterton Company. Cindy then moved to Avery Dennison in 1998 as an HR leader. In 2001, they became the Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition at Electronic Arts. During their time at EA, they led the global talent organization and was responsible for recruitment, university relations, and talent technology. In 2011, they left EA to join Apple Inc. as the Senior Director of Worldwide Corporate Recruiting. At Apple, they oversaw recruiting, university relations, inclusion and diversity, recruiting operations and tech, and global mobility during the company's hyper growth period. In 2015, Nicola left Apple to join Tesla Motors as the Vice President of Global Recruiting & Mobility. Cindy held this position until 2019 when they joined Rivian.

Cindy Nicola has a masters in management/social work from Boston University.

Cindy Nicola reports to Helen Russell, Chief People Officer. Cindy Nicola works with Leslie Williams - Head of Candidate Experience, Kaysha Lopez - Executive Assistant to Chief People Officer, and Ben Putterman - VP, Learning & Talent Development.
