Michael Hunter

Michael Hunter has over 20 years of experience in leadership roles within the financial services sector, currently serving as Chief Information Officer for Enabling Functions and Head of Change Management at Royal London since July 2018. Prior to this, Michael held the position of Portfolio Manager at Prudential Life Assurance from October 2017 to July 2018, and was Head of Change at Standard Bank Group from June 2015 to October 2017. Earlier in the career, Michael worked at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management as Head of Operations Change in Jersey from January 2009 to June 2015, and as Senior Project Analyst and Business Analyst at Royal Bank of Scotland from October 2002 to July 2006. Michael holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Operations from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the same institution. Education was preceded by attendance at Lenzie Academy from 1989 to 1994.
