Helen Thornton

Helen Thornton is the Director of Organisational Development at RNIB, where they focus on defining, designing, and delivering world-class OD initiatives. With over 20 years of leadership experience, they have previously held roles such as Organisational Effectiveness Consultant at Yorkshire Building Society and various marketing positions within the same institution. Helen's work has been recognized with awards, including being a finalist at the 2023 CIPD People Management Awards and serving as an invited speaker at the 2023 CIPD Talent & Workforce Planning Conference. They hold multiple degrees from Northumbria University and The University of Manchester, focusing on International Business and Financial Services Management.
