Amanda Gary

Amanda Gary is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in higher education and program management. Currently, Amanda serves as a Program Manager at Road to Hire since April 2025 and has been an Adjunct Faculty and Academic Advisor at Northern Virginia Community College since November 2017. Previously, Amanda held the position of Assistant Director of Advising at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from March 2022 to April 2025 and worked as the Law School Admission Coordinator at the University of the District of Columbia from May 2016 to November 2017. Additional roles include Mason Tour and Visitor Center Manager and Program Coordinator for the Washington Scholars Program at George Mason University from January 2013 to May 2016, as well as Academic Advising and Career Coach at Old Dominion University from August 2009 to August 2011. Amanda holds a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, Higher Education from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services, Counseling from Old Dominion University.
