Martin van der Schans

Martin van der Schans has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Martin started their career in 2001 as a part-time C++ programmer at CSI. In 2002, they transitioned to Stichting Studiebegeleiding Leiden, where they worked as a Teacher in Mathematics until 2006. During this time, they pursued a PhD at Universiteit Leiden, focusing on applied mathematics and completing their thesis in 2013. Martin then joined Netspar in 2015 as a Member of the Netspar Editorial Board until 2017. From 2011 to 2021, Martin worked at Ortec Finance as a Researcher. Currently, they are employed at Robeco as a Trading Researcher, starting in 2021.
