Chris Fremantle

Chris Fremantle is a seasoned producer and researcher with extensive experience in contemporary art practice and interdisciplinary projects. As a Producer and Researcher at Fremantle Consultants since February 2006, Chris has been instrumental in developing strategies and policies, as well as recruiting artists and managing contracts. Concurrently, Chris has served as a Research Fellow and Lecturer at Robert Gordon University since April 2014, contributing to the UKRI NERC funded NewLEAF project. Chris's role as a Research Associate at On The Edge Research involves co-authoring reports and supporting public seminar initiatives. Previous significant positions include Joint Programme Director for the MFA 'Art, Space and Nature' at Art Space and Nature, and Public Art and Education Project Manager for NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde, among others. Chris holds an M.Litt in Cultural History from the University of Aberdeen.
