Priya Matharu

Priya Matharu is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in radio presenting and event hosting. Currently serving as an Assistant Producer at Hits Radio since September 2021, Priya collaborates across various shows. Additionally, Priya has hosted the award-winning show "Desi Beats" on 107.5 Switch Radio, which garnered a Gold award at the Community Radio Awards in 2020. Other notable engagements include participation in the BBC Creator Lab, hosting at Birmingham Festival 23, and presenting on various platforms, including Echo Salford and Punjab2000.com. Priya is a graduate of The University of Salford with a BA in Broadcast Journalism and has completed training programs with KISS FM.
