Richard Blackwell

Richard Blackwell, AIF®, AAMS®, currently serves as Managing Director at Rockefeller Capital Management since February 2024. Prior to this role, Blackwell held the position of Managing Director and Financial Advisor at Truist Wealth from February 2021 to February 2024, and previously worked as Managing Director and Financial Advisor at BB&T Scott & Stringfellow from May 2004 to February 2021. Blackwell's military experience includes service as a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Army Reserve and Army National Guard from 2004 to 2012, with various leadership roles including Aerial Delivery Officer during Operation Yama Sakura in Japan and Company Commander in North Carolina. Blackwell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Analytical Finance from Wake Forest University in 2004.
