Alix Barré is an experienced professional currently serving as a Data and Operations Coordinator and Humanitarian Aid Worker at Rode Kruis-Vlaanderen since April 2022. Previous roles include a Bluebook Trainee at the European Commission in 2021, where Alix focused on internal communication strategies, and a Majalat Project Assistant at EuroMed Rights, managing EU dialogue projects and advocacy missions. Alix also coordinated migration research and served as a Programme Assistant concentrating on human rights advocacy in the Middle East and North Africa. Early career experiences include an EU Affairs Internship at UNRWA and a Conflict Resolution Internship, alongside contributions as a freelance writer for cafébabel. Alix holds a Master's degree in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from Université libre de Bruxelles and additional degrees in Journalism and History of Art from the University of Hamburg and University of Leicester, respectively.
