John Kelly, who joined Roku in 2021, leads the Corporate Affairs and Communications team and is responsible for Roku’s corporate brand strategy, all global and enterprise communications, media relations and engagements, issues management, government affairs, and public relations. Prior to Roku, John led a similar role as head of Global Corporate Affairs and Social Impact at Starbucks Coffee Company for seven years. Before that, he held a series of senior roles at Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, Paris, and Brussels building key strategic relationships, influencing public policy and navigating global regulatory issues. John holds a bachelor’s degree in political science fromStanford University and a J.D. from Washington College of Law.
