Mugdha Bhalchandra Chavan

Mugdha Bhalchandra Chavan is a seasoned food scientist with extensive experience in product development, research and development (R&D), and commercialization within the food industry. Currently serving as a Sr. Food Scientist at Roskam Foods since April 2025, Mugdha previously held multiple roles at Urban Farmer, including Manager of R&D and Commercialization, where responsibilities included managing project timelines and resource allocation for product launches. With a strong foundation in product innovation and operational efficiency, previous positions encompassed roles as Manager of R&D, Product Developer, Food Technologist, and Quality Assurance Supervisor among others. Mugdha's educational background includes a Master of Science in Food Safety and Technology from Illinois Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Biotechnology from the University of Mumbai.
