James Barnes

James Barnes is an experienced executive with a strong background in finance and operations, currently serving as the Chief Programs and Member Services Officer at Rotary International since December 2014. Previously, James held the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Skandia, Inc., where efforts were directed toward significant company growth. At DB Aviation, Inc., from 2000 to 2010, James operated as Chief Operating Officer, successfully revitalizing an unprofitable business with extensive oversight of multiple departments. James's earlier career included various financial leadership roles at Rotary International from 1986 to 1999, where a professional internal audit function was established under his leadership. James began in accounting management at Raymond & Associates in the early 1980s and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Northeastern Illinois University.
