Thomas Nihouarn

Thomas Nihouarn currently works at RTE Réseau de Transport d'Electricité as Chargé d'Affaires Exploitation since August 2023. Previously, Thomas served as Ingénieur d'affaires at PRIME ENGINEERING from September 2022 to April 2023 and conducted a Master Thesis on floating wind turbines and platform's cost reduction at Instituto Superior Técnico in late 2021. Early career experiences include an engineer apprenticeship at Faurecia from September 2017 to September 2020, with a specific project role in lean management and digitization in the automotive industry during a stint in Rayong, Thailand. Additional projects involved designing an underactuated hand for Autonomous Underwater Vehicles at ViCOROB in 2017, and early roles at McDonald's and Coopérative Garun-Paysanne. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Renewable Energy from Mines Paris - PSL, an Engineer's degree from ECAM Louis de Broglie, and a DUT in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from IUT de Rennes.
