Alexander Höllbacher

Alexander Höllbacher currently serves as the VP of Internal Audit and Secretary to the Audit and Risk Management Committee at RUAG since January 2020. In addition, Alexander is a Guest Lecturer at the University of St.Gallen, contributing to CAS and master's programs. Prior to this, experience at RUAG Corporate Services AG included roles such as Manager Internal Audit, M&A Manager, and Internal Audit Manager from June 2014 to December 2019. Alexander's career also features a position as Senior Internal Auditor and Team Leader at Clariant International Ltd. from January 2011 to June 2014, as well as a Research Assistant at the University of Zurich from March 2007 to December 2010. Educational qualifications include a CAS in Inhouse Counsel from the University of Zurich in March 2024, a Certificate in Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard Business School Online in 2018, and both a Master and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Zurich in Economics and Business Administration, with earlier studies in Information Technology and Electrical Engineering at ETH Zürich.
