Jan Wootten

SVP at Rubenstein

Jan Wootten is a Senior Vice President at Rubenstein Communications, a public relations firm headquartered in New York City. Jan has been with the company since October 1996, and has worked on campaigns for major cultural, civic, science, educational, and corporate clients.

Some of their most notable projects include the NY Philharmonic’s concert in Pyongyang, North Korea; the opening of the multi-media science center at Rensselear Polytechnic Institute; BMW’s first online sale of an SUV; and the world premier of the YouTube Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall.

Jan is a skilled communicator and strategist, and has been instrumental in Rubenstein’s success over the past two decades.

Jan Wootten has completed a B.A. in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, a year in Lyon, France from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and is currently ABD in Developmental Psychology from Columbia University.

They are on a team with Jennifer Wallington - AVP, Nicole Suder - AVP, and Chris Giglio - Managing Director, Head of Crisis. Their manager is Steven Rubenstein, President.
