Alan Houmann

Alan Houmann serves as a Senior Policy Advisor at Rud Pedersen Public Affairs since March 2024, focusing on financial services and policy issues. Additionally, Alan is an Associate at The Ambassador Partnership and a Member of the Board of Trustees at Chatham House. Alan's extensive experience includes a role as Managing Director and Head of Government Affairs for EMEA at Citigroup from July 2007 to September 2023. Previous positions also include significant contributions as a Board Member and Chair of the Policy Committee at the International Business and Diplomatic Exchange, and various policy advisory roles at prominent institutions such as the UK Financial Services Authority, the European Commission, and the European Banking Federation. Alan holds an MA in Philosophy and International Studies from the University of St Andrews and an MSc in Economics from Birkbeck, University of London.
