Jonathan Pendlebury

Jonathan Pendlebury currently serves as the RFU U18 Head Coach and Pathway Development Coach for England Rugby, focusing on nurturing players for a leading national team. Prior experience includes a role as Assistant Teaching Support at Coventry University, collaborating on the Sport Coaching degree program, and serving as Academy Manager at Wasps, where Jonathan advanced player development for the Premiership. Pendlebury's earlier career saw him manage the Academy for Yorkshire Carnegie and compete at a professional level, including captaining the Leeds Carnegie team before retiring due to concussions. Pendlebury has also contributed as an Assistant Coach for the Yorkshire Senior County team and has participated with the Rugby Players Association, representing professional players. Educational credentials include an MSc in Sport Coaching from Leeds Beckett University and various coaching qualifications in Rugby Union.
