Matthew Bortlein is a seasoned toolmaker with extensive experience in manufacturing and repairing workholding fixtures and gages, primarily at Ruger Firearms since August 2004. Prior to this role, Matthew worked at Rehau from October 1997 to June 2004, specializing in the manufacture of PVC extrusion tooling for the automotive and construction sectors, and traveled across the US and Canada for setup. Earlier in Matthew's career, from 1991 to 1997, significant contributions were made at Sikorsky Aircraft in the manufacture and support of production and assembly fixtures for various helicopter models. Educational background includes attendance at Eli Whitney Vocational Technical School from 1982 to 1986.
