Postdoctoral Researcher at Rural Development Administration

Dr. Muthusamy Muthusamy is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Rural Development Administration since August 2018, focusing on advancing research in agriculture. Prior experience includes serving as a Researcher in Molecular Biology at the NRCB from September 2009 to August 2016, where work centered on banana transcriptomics and proteomics related to drought tolerance. Earlier roles featured a position as a Senior Research Fellow at MVC, TANUVAS in Chennai, from September 2008 to September 2009, focusing on the molecular characterization of Newcastle disease virus. Dr. Muthusamy holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biotechnology-Functional Genomics from the National Research Centre for Banana and has earned a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Alagappa University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Periyar University.
