Elmer Velasquez

Elmer Velasquez is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in technology and business services. Currently serving as Managing Director at Russell Reynolds Associates since October 2025, Velasquez leads client engagements focused on senior leadership assignments in executive search and succession/assessment advisory. Prior experience includes various leadership roles at Heidrick & Struggles from August 2010 to October 2025, culminating in positions as Partner and Managing Partner in the Global Technology & Services Practice. Earlier in the career, Velasquez served as Director and Head of Human Resources and Corporate Services for the Asia Pacific region at Indra, a leading Spanish technology company. Velasquez holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Management Engineering, as well as completed graduate studies in Industrial & Organizational Psychology at Ateneo de Manila University.
