Ricardo Pimentel

Ricardo Pimentel is a Partner and Head of Data and Insight at Rystad Energy, where tenure began in July 2007. This role involves overseeing the development and innovation of the UCube product's methodologies and algorithms. Additionally, Ricardo has served as a Sales and Support Manager, contributing to the establishment of the Houston office and driving sales for the Upstream database and other Oil & Gas research products. Earlier in Ricardo's career at Rystad Energy, the role of Analyst involved providing data support for oil & gas upstream consultants and ensuring data quality across multiple teams. Prior experience includes a Software Developer Internship at One Call AS, focusing on project development for SOAP communication and client invoice systems. Ricardo earned a degree from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and studied at Eindhoven University of Technology.
