Steve Gamba

Steve Gamba is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity with extensive experience managing security operations and implementing network security solutions across various industries. Currently serving as the Managed Cyber Security Services Manager at Safaricom PLC since April 2019, Steve leads SOC operations, incident response, and customer onboarding while also supporting sales initiatives. Previously, as a Senior Cyber Defence and Prevent Analyst at SYBYL, Steve designed and implemented security measures for financial institutions and other sectors. An early career at Bemicom Computer Systems as an IT Support Technician and a Network Operation Center Engineer at Safaricom PLC further enhanced Steve's technical expertise. Steve's educational background includes a Master's degree in Distributed Computing Technology from the University of Nairobi and a Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security from Charles Sturt University.
