Amy Ambrose

Amy Ambrose, CFRE, MBA, MA, currently serves as the Senior Director of Development and Interim Director of Operations at the Simons Institute for the Theory of Computing at the University of California, Berkeley. With extensive experience in development and fundraising, Amy also holds leadership positions as Chair of the Development Committee at Safe & Sound and as Vice President and Treasurer at the Alliance Francaise de Berkeley. Previous roles include Senior Strategist in Development and Alumni Relations at UC Berkeley, Assistant Dean of Advancement at UC Berkeley School of Law, and Director of External Relations at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Amy's career began with roles in marketing and account management, including positions at ETH Zurich, Acxiom, and Tetra Pak. Amy holds an MBA in Technology Strategy and Marketing from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an MA in Theatre and Performance Studies from Northwestern University, and a BA in Dramatic Art and French from the University of California, Berkeley.
