Zachary Nelson

Zachary Nelson is an experienced engineering leader with a robust background in managing design, project, manufacturing, and tooling engineering, currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Safran since October 2018. Zachary has a proven track record in new product development and configuration management, with prior roles including Design Engineer Manager and Project Engineering Manager within the Safran Cabin Division. Prior to Safran, roles included Senior Program Manager as a consultant, Project Manager at Precision Aircraft Solutions, and Program Manager positions at Zodiac Aerospace and Jamco America, focusing on interior cabin projects and product introductions. Zachary's early career featured roles at Honeywell Aerospace and Boeing, managing retrofit and avionics projects. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Seattle University and a Master's Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University.
